#39 Move Caleb into his own bedroom.

Well, the time has come. Caleb moved into his own bedroom on Valentines Day, which was also his 9 month birthday. I have mixed emotions. Noah didn't move into his own room until Caleb was born! (We co-slept with Noah.) and I feel a little sad that Caleb is out of our room at 9 months old! But at the same time, its nice to have our room back...we haven't been able to sleep in our room kid-free in THREE years! This is the first time in three years that our room has not had a changing table or crib in it. Its a little freeing! Mike & I can actually watch TV in our bed...something we haven't done since before Noah was born!
Right now Caleb's room is a hodge podge of furniture but its functional. There's a sofa sleeper up against the wall that we're going to sell in a garage sale soon, and a little desk that Mike's dad made in the corner, but we haven't figured out where we're going to put that yet. Caleb transitioned really well into his new room. :)
Another change is that Mike is no longer sleeping in Noah's room! Yes, Mike slept in Noah's room while Caleb was in the master bedroom because Mike is up early to go to work and I wanted him to get an undisturbed night's sleep. (I'm such an awesome wife). So to transition Noah to sleeping by himself, we totally decked out his room in Disney Cars items, as well as his bathroom. He has done well the past couple of nights too.
So yes, Mommy & Daddy are finally back to where they belong: in their awesome king-sized bed...and no, this doesn't mean we're going to have another baby.
